One Sweet Moment was founded by Althea Dietzel, an experienced entrepreneur and longtime resident of
the Hamilton neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore City. She opened "Billy's Snowballs" in 1993, starting with just 12
flavors and one ice shaver. Through hard work and a dedication to quality, the business quickly expanded, even outgrowing its name
to become One Sweet Moment in 2003.

The founder of OSM, Althea is still deeply involved in the day-to-day activities of the business. She is on the floor
working with her employees every evening and weekend, ensuring the quality of the products her business provides. She's still often
affectionately referred to as "Billy" by some of OSM's long-standing customers who remember the roots of the business. |

Althea's youngest daughter, Nik, ran the cash register and stocked flavors as a child. As an adult, she took over management of
the business for several years while her mother was unable to devote 100% of her time to OSM. Now, having completed her Master's degree and devoting herself to parenting an active preschooler, Nik and her family commute from their home in Pennsylvania to run the snowball stand on the weekdays.

Althea's oldest daughter, Lindsay was the first person to help Althea make snowballs for the OSM customers. After living
out-of-state for several years, Lindsay now lives in Baltimore County and occasionally helps out when her mother is short-staffed. |
