Most people who hear our reputation but have not experienced our product think we must be over-hyped. What could possibly make one snowball stand so much better than another? Surprisingly, quite a lot.

We have over 150 all-premium flavors, including dozens that you won't find anywhere else. The youngest member of the OSM family, Nik, formulates new flavors every year, and while the names often show up on our competitors' menus, they don't have the benefit of our recipes, and thus cannot compare to our innovative flavors.

We were the first (and, to our knowledge, still the only) snowball stand in the area to offer both shaved and crushed ice. Shaved ice (often called "Hawaiian ice") is soft like snow, and absorbs flavor to make a delicious desert. Crushed ice, however, is a Baltimore tradition, and can be more thirst quenching, and a great alternative for sour flavors especially.

We have our own secret recipe for cream, a delicious addition to almost any sweet snowball flavor. Many snowball stands have a variant of cream, but it is often no more than evaporated milk. Our cream recipe was created by the OSM family, and has been carefully honed to perfection.

We offer Hershey's Ice Cream, both in our snowballs and in individual scoops. Hershey is known for delicious, quality ice cream, and their flavors compliment the snowball flavors beautifully.

We don't over-thin our marshmallow. Many snowball stands add a lot of water to their marshmallow in an attempt to make it go farther. We'd rather give our customers their money's worth, so we provide thicker, tastier marshmallow than our competitors.

We don't charge extra for "premium flavors." Many snowball stands have extended menus of "premium flavors" that they charge ridiculous fees for, but ALL of our flavors are premium. Also, our Specialty Flavors are available for no additional cost, and our customers can mix any two Regular Flavors for free.
